Many leadership and occupational contests will be conducted online ahead of the state conference. Online contest registration will open February 1 and close February 15, 2022. The registration fee for online contestants is $50. Contest materials such as electronic notebooks and resumes are due by February 15, 2022, via the online contest submission form. Once registration has closed, contestants will receive a specified date/time and login credentials to participate in the virtual portion of the contest via electronic platform with a panel of judges. These contests will occur on February 22 and 23, 2022. Online competitors will be notified if they placed in the top three and may choose to attend the state conference in Chattanooga to participate in the Kickoff Session, the SkillsUSA TECHSPO, entertainment, and the Grand Awards Ceremony, but online competitors will not be required to attend in-person. If an online competitor does not win Gold, they may choose to register for another in-person contest. Click the contest links below for more information.
